Having just wrapped up the first official week of summer, I thought this would be a good time to update everyone on what New Sweden has planned in the coming weeks. If you haven’t purchased your tickets already for this Saturday, June 29th, now is a good time. We’ll be sharing the stage downstairs at the Queen with The Kalob Griffin Band, Sean Hoots (of Hoots and Hellmouth) and the The Lawsuits. Advance ticket-buyers for this show get a free download sampler from all bands, plus a free entry into the night's raffle for 2 tickets to any show at WCLQ, merch from all the artists, a signed poster and limited edition trucker hat commemorating the night!
On July 19th, we look forward to returning to Mojo Main alongside Still Moon Servants, Cheers Elephant, and Billy from Robot House for a night of great music. Later that weekend, New Sweden will be participating in the Turkshead Music Festival in West Chester, PA. This is a kid friendly event that goes from 12:00-p.m.-8:00pm. We take the stage at 6:30 and will be followed by our pals FatDaddyHasBeen. For a great end to the month of July we look forward to returning to MilkBoy Coffee in Ardmore, PA with Blackhorse Motel and The Gallerist. So grab your tickets, BYOB and enjoy an intimate performance of original, live music.
